Blind Youth Audio Project

Every summer, AVIA and Jack Straw Productions bring visually impaired high school students to Jack Straw's digital audio production facility to learn about current recording and production techniques and create their own original programs. The Washington Department of Services for the Blind, Child and Family Services, provides access to this program to the participants in Youth Employment Solutions, their summer jobs program for blind and visually impaired Washington teens.

Support for the Blind Youth Audio Project is from the National Endowment for the Arts.
